Taliban Step Up Attacks, Killing 11 Afghan Soldiers
"The Taliban on Wednesday kept up its steady campaign of bombings and shootings against Afghanistan’s still unsteady security forces, killing at least 11 Afghan soldiers in a pair of attacks in the country’s south and east, Afghan officials said."
