5 killed in car bomb explosion in northern Iraq

" five people, including four Iranian pilgrims have been killed in a car bomb explosion north of Baghdad"

"Police and hospital officials in Diyala province say a parked car, laden with explosives detonated near a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims to the Iraqi capital. The attack occurred on Monday afternoon while the bus was moving on a highway, just outside Muqdadiyah, 60 miles (90 kilometers) north of Baghdad"

Karzai moves to disband private security firms in Afghanistan

"President Hamid Karzai intends to disband all private security companies in Afghanistan within four months, his spokesman said Monday, a timeline that likely will meet with strong resistance from NATO forces who rely heavily on the companies to provide security to convoys and installations across the country"

Karzai is expected to issue a presidential decree later Monday that will outline the process of how the companies are to be disbanded"

Make sure you notice in your viewfinder the attitude of the people of Manasseh toward the people of Islam, check out what a senior executive of a major international security company had to say about this Karzi move (He is telling the truth which speak to the propaganda of thing getting better, and notice the attitude toward afghan themselves!)

"If you go and talk to any of the big donors you will find that none of them will stay in the country if they can't have international security companies protecting them," said one senior executive of a major international security company"

Most embassies would not want to be guarded by an Afghan police force that is plagued with corruption and is also largely illiterate.

A western security official predicted that most embassies would find ways to avoid any ban, possibly citing a longstanding agreement between Nato and the Afghan government that gives near-total immunity to contractors working for the international community. Another option would be to issue embassy guards with diplomatic passports."

Iran details plans for new moutain nuke sites

"Iran said Monday it plans to build 10 new uranium enrichment sites inside protected mountain strongholds and start construction on the first in March, defying international efforts to curb its nuclear program"

"President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday also officially notified the government of the implementation of a new law banning the government from anything except the most minimum level of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, the U.N. nuclear watchdog"

"The law is seen as a retaliation for the sanctions and also includes a provision authorizing the Iranian government to retaliate against any countries that attempt to search its ships or airplanes for dual-use materials with inspections of their own"

Sanctions not affecting gasoline supply

"Last month, Deputy Oil Minister Alireza Zeighami said Iran was investing 26 billion dollars on new refineries by the end of the current development plan to 2014."

"Meanwhile, David Velasquez Caraballo, the Venezuelan envoy to Tehran, said his country "would provide the required gasoline" to Iran as and when it demands, Fars news agency reported.
Ties between Iran and Venezuela have flourished under the presidency of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, with Caracas publicly backing Tehran's controversial nuclear programm"

"Watch" how the harden heart who's actions are "unfaithful, unrighteous and defiant" display how desperate they are (remember I pointed it out to you in The Preview of the Red Defensive & Black Shadows?)

In historic first visit by Israeli PM, Netanyahu scheduled to meet with Greek counterpart and country's opposition leader

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Athens on Monday, a week after being visited by his Greek counterpart in Tel Aviv and at a time of deteriorating relations between Israel and Turkey, Greece's neighbor and traditional rival.

Security was tight for Netahyahu's visit - the first ever by an Israeli prime minister to Greece - as left-wing groups planning demonstrations outside the Israeli embassy in Athens."

Will they go from one horn to another? or did they move Brazil away? the desperate acts shall fail as the contraction become more frequent

The 'Ground Zero Mosque' Is Not a Mosque (or at Ground Zero)

"First here are the facts: The building in question is planned to be a Muslim community center, a sort of YMCA (or, I suppose, YMMA). The plans are for it to have fitness facilities (swimming pool, gym, basketball court), a 500-seat auditorium, a restaurant and a cooking school, exhibition space, a library, art studios, a 9/11 memorial--the impudence! the outrage!--and childcare facilities (which no doubt will soon be referred to as a "Manhattan Madrasa"). And it's also going to house a mosque, But calling the entire building a mosque is a bit like referring to the Empire State Building as a 103-story Walgreens because the pharmacy chain has a store on the ground floor.

"This debate is taking place on a gut, emotional level. Reasonable critics argue, for example, that this is about sensitivity rather than about liberty. And on that gut level, there's a real difference between a 13-story mosque (which conjures images of a foreign looking structure with minarets and so forth) rising up out of--or even adjacent to--the hole in the ground that used to be the World Trade Center, and a 13-story community center tucked away on a side street a couple of blocks from ground zero. The former lends itself to the sort of irresponsible rhetoric of triumphalist Islamicists that Newt Gingrich goes on about. The latter is, well, reality."
